The federal Minister “Shaukat Tareen”Release a notification on Friday (end of year, 2021 ) it increase the price of petrol by Rs4.00 per litre and also of high speed diesel (HSD) by Rs4.00 per litre.
According to a notification issued by the Finance Division, the new price of petrol, effective from 1st januaray 2022 , will be at Rs144.82 per litre while high speed diesel will sell for Rs141.62.
Meanwhile, the prices of kerosene and light diesel oil (LDO) were increased by Rs3.95 and Rs4.15 per litre respectively. The new price of kerosene is Rs113.53 per litre and that of LDO is Rs111.06 per litre.
This is the new year gift by the federal government .
