KARACHI: During intra-day trade in the interbank market, the local currency lost more than Rs6.83 against the US dollar in advance of the monetary policy review and the delay in the International Monetary Fund (IMF) deal.
At around 11:16 a.m., the dollar was trading at Rs283.70 against the local currency. A day earlier, it had closed at Rs266.11.
