Malaysia Lifted Up Restrictions For Covid -19 And Reopen The Border For Foreigners

KUALA LUMPUR(Bernama / B – Trams): The restrictions currently imposed on business premises’ operating hours will be abolished starting April 1, says Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob. Also It  reopen the nation’s borders with many looking to resume travel plans in the near future.

He said the owners of the premises could then implement operating hours based on their premises’ operating licence. While He   said the reopening of borders was a ray of light for those like himself who wanted to venture abroad for career growth.

“I myself have been trying to land a job outside of the country for the past few years but the situation from the pandemic made it difficult as I could not be based abroad,” he said.

He added that this announcement allowed him to now send out resumes in mass volumes while also resuming plans for travel, adding that he was looking forward to visiting Japan once their borders reopened.

“This means that everyone can eat at food and beverage outlets after midnight, especially during the coming month of Ramadan. So, it is possible to have your sahur meals outside,” Ismail Sabri said at a special media conference on the country’s transition to the endemic phase here on Tuesday
