soybean futures

Soybean: According to IMEA analysts, farmers in the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso in 2021/22 MY can harvest 39.2 million tons of soybeans, which is 2.7 million tons more than the previous season’s harvest and will be a record value for the region, according to NovaCana.

In addition, experts expect a total corn crop in Mato Grosso at 40.4 million tons (+7.2 million tons per year), which is planned to be harvested from 6.30 million hectares (+7.86% per year). It is noted that most of the crops were sown in the optimal period and predicted rains in April-May can increase grain yields (current forecasts indicate an increase in yield by 15.82% compared to the results of the previous year).
