Cotton: futures traded around 152 USd/Lbs, moving away slightly from an almost 11-year high of 158 USd/Lbs hit on May 4th following USDA’s strong weekly sales report.
Weekly FAS data had net sales of 232,400 RB for 2021/22, which were up 92% from the last week and up noticeably from the prior 4-week average on wake of increased shipments to China, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Turkey and India.
