KARACHI: The Federal Government Decided as per the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) recommendation that to extended the last date for exchanging old banknotes of Rs10, 50, 100 & 1000 till December 31, 2022.
As the Federal Government Previously, Issued a Notification dated December 23, 2021, upon expiry of the period,On December 31, 2021. the old design banknotes will stand cancelled, and will not be exchangeable.
To facilitate people Government Take this step and emphasized here that this is the final extension in the date of exchange of these Rs10, 50, 100 & 1000 old banknotes also advised to avail this opportunity and exchange their old design banknotes through Sate Bank of Pakistan And Banking service Corporation( BSC) Offices till December 31, 2022.
